Assetto Corsa career mode - the first championship in the career mode puts drivers in the Lotus 2 Eleven four a four race series, the first of which is at Magione.
I have stuck with the AI on Easy difficulty, having no idea how hard or easy the first championship was going to be. As it turned out this was an excellent race around the tight Italian circuit and the AI drivers proved to be up for some close racing.
I have decided that after completing this part of the career mode I shall give it a rest as the bugs with the unscheduled pit stops are becoming a bit wearing and take away from the experience to the point that you feel the whole thing is too much of a lottery.
There are four races in this series and I have already "completed" the next round at Monza - I say completed, because I made a bit of a mess of it on the first attempt and decided to restart. However, upon trying to do so, several times, the AI all lined up on the grid and promptly turned hard right into the wall and I could not seem to reset the behaviour and in the end was forced to give up.
So, no points scored in the Monza race and I moved on to Imola, the video of which I will post in due course.
